Description

1.Product Introduction

PVC-U sewer pipe, fully named “High-Performance Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe for Sewerage and Drainage,” is a solid-wall pipe manufactured primarily by extruding a standard formulation of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound. Its core innovation lies in the integrally molded bell-and-spigot joint structure with a steel-reinforced sealing ring, which significantly enhances the sealing performance and reliability of pipeline connections. This pipe is mainly suitable for buried and utility tunnel sewerage and drainage systems conveying media at temperatures not exceeding 45°C and under nominal pressures no greater than 0.63 MPa. Thanks to its outstanding properties, PVC-U pipes can effectively achieve “zero leakage” in sewer networks, fundamentally reducing groundwater contamination.

3.Connection Methods

7.Manufacturing Process Flow

  • Raw Material Preparation:Standard-compliant PVC compound (a homogeneous mixture of base PVC resin and necessary additives) is used.
  • Extrusion Molding:The compound is heated and plasticized in an extruder, then formed into a tubular shape through a die.
  • Socket Forming:The socket structure with an embedded steel-reinforced sealing ring is integrally molded onto one end of the pipe.
  • Cooling and Sizing:The formed pipe is cooled to set its shape.
  • Cutting and Marking:The pipe is cut to specified lengths (e.g., 6m or 12m) and marked with product information, including the installation guide line.
