Description
1.Product Introduction
A plastic inspection chamber is a subsidiary structure in drainage systems, primarily made from polymer resins (such as PE, PVC-U, PP) through one-time injection molding or other forming processes. It mainly consists of a base, shaft, cover, and related accessories, and is installed at intersections, bends, or drop points of drainage pipelines for the inspection, cleaning, and dredging of pipeline networks.
The emergence of plastic inspection chambers aims to replace traditional brick-built inspection chambers. 3.Connection Methods
- Core Connection Technology:Flexible spigot-socket connections using rubber sealing rings are standard between the chamber base and buried pipes, as well as between the shaft and the base. This design accommodates minor angular deflection, effectively resisting leaks caused by ground settlement and deformation.
- Other Connection Methods: For PVC-U bases and shafts with diameters ≤315 mm, solvent cement joining is an alternative to rubber seals. Heat-shrink sleeve connections are also applicable.
- Chamber Base Variants:To suit complex network layouts, bases are available as straight-through, 45° / 90° bends, tees, and cross types. Accessories like reducers and adjustable-angle adapters provide further flexibility for pipe diameter and alignment changes.
